Glossary

Term Definition in CUBIT
ABI Description of functions, events and types used to communicate with a contract
Approval ERC-20 authorization granted to a spender address for an amount
Launch base Fixed reference in the target formula; the request cites 7k, to calibrate in ETH
Burn Actual destruction of tokens, reducing total supply
Target Level calculated at time T for placing new funds
ERC-6909 claim Accounting unit held in the PoolManager to settle or retain assets
Reward claim Call to collect an accrued reward; a different use of “claim” from ERC-6909
Cushion Mobile ladder ETH position, separate from fixed walls
Deadline Latest timestamp accepted for an operation or signature
Deflation Reduction in total supply through actual burns of CUBIT bought back by walls
Exact-input Swap with fixed input and output protected by a minimum
Exact-output Swap with fixed output and input protected by a maximum
FDV Price multiplied by a fully diluted reference supply; specify the convention used
LP fee Pool commission, separate from hook taxes
First-bound First accepted referral link, kept in the registry without overwriting
Floor Historical name used in code; under the new policy, read walls and target separately
Guardian Temporary role for pausing certain maintenance functions
Hook Contract connected to Uniswap v4 operations, applying CUBIT mechanics here
Idle ETH ETH accounted for but not deployed in a position; specify its compartment
Keeper Account or service that triggers a permissionless maintenance operation
Ladder Mobile set of CUBIT bands and the ETH cushion used to operate the market
Lens Read contract deriving figures from the hook and pool
Liquidity / depth Assets actually available in positions, depending on their state and price
Wall ETH-funded LP position whose ticks remain attached to that funding
Pending floor ETH New funds allocated to upcoming walls, awaiting placement
Permissionless Call open to everyone, subject to deterministic contract conditions
PoolId Identifier derived from the entire PoolKey
Rebalance Operation collecting, accounting for and reorganizing ladder positions
Range Zone in which price oscillates; only walls actually reached can absorb those sales
V2 registry Contract retaining current modules, their revision and referral links
Slippage Accepted execution difference from a quote, bounded by swap limits
Snapshot Consistent set of data read at a given block
Strict-burn Rule isolating absorbed tokens so they remain reserved for destruction
Sweep Transfer of a share of ladder ETH to the wall reserve at rebalance
Tick Discrete pool price unit; its orientation is reversed relative to ETH/CUBIT price
V1 / V2 Market core / additional roadmap features
WETH ERC-20 representation of ETH used to pay Vault rewards
